Jon,
Every single one of your photos is fantastic! I think that they all rate a "10", although I have some reservations about using a numerical rating system (if I give someone a 10 and a better photo comes along, do we pull a Nigel Tufnell and give it an 11 or do we just make 10 louder?).
At any rate, this is my favorite photo because the colors are so unusual for freediving. It's like someone vandalized a Mark Rothko painting by pasting in a photograph where the artist intended a blue triangle. The coloring of the ice, the patch of blue sky, the shadows of the ropes on the ice, the buddy looking down into the water and even the triangular piece of ice to right of the hole make the whole thing look very abstract, even though the shot is totally real. If you crop the left a little, it might be one of the best shots in the gallery.
